MUNDY CALLS THE TUNE AT KILKENNY

For the second week running, Lemon Mundy was foot perfect in the second round of the TIME Greyhound Nutrition A3 525, showing his rivals a clean pair of heels in the last of the four heats.

His great market rival Doggie Brasco gave chase throughout but there was no stopping the front-running Lemon Mundy.

Owned jointly by Tom Lennon and Michael Kennedy, the son of Ballymac Bolger and Lemon Phoebe dominated from start to finish to emerge a three length scorer in 28.92. Doggie Brasco was second with Birchfield Pa third.

ROLEX ON TIME IN OPENING HEAT

Next fastest was Explosive Rolex in the opening heat.

Representing Karol Ramsbottom and Peter Sutcliffe, the son of Explosive Boy and Zipping Sassy made every inch after a slick exit from four to see off How Ye Marty by five lengths in 29.15.

TOBY FINISHES WITH A FLOURISH

Ashmore Toby finished fast to lead late in Heat 3 for Paul Hennessy and John Boyle.

The son of Droopys Sydney and Azzabi was well off the pace in the early yards but he found the gaps when he needed to. Getting up in the closing stages, he saw off Long Senorita by a length in 29.26.

REBA REPELS RIVALS

Lemon Reba would initiate a double for Tom Lennon in the second of the four heats.

1. Moving to the front on the opening bend, the daughter of Ballymac Best and Lemon Ariana would repel the challenge of Chiltern Peacock by a half length in 29.47.
