BOMBAY SPECIAL (Dromana Bucko-Tory Aria) ran out a brilliant winner of the €7,000 to the winner SS0 Personnel Cork Oaks at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.
Trained by Graham Holland for owner Jack Ryan, the 6-4 shot took a flying start to easily slip around the opening turns in front. Powering along at the head of affairs, the fast-starting winner was soon five lengths clear of Clan Sapphire with Magical On Fire moving third midway down the back straight.
In what was a fantastic decider, the eye was drawn to Laurel's Champion Magical On Fire as they approached the final corners and only a length and a bit separated them at the final bend; however, Bombay Special dug deep to hold Magical On Fire, by half a length, in 28.42. Three lengths back to Ballymac Siun in third.

Swords Style (Grangeview Ten-Emers Sally) completed a Holland treble when making all the running in the closing race for owner Barbara Lowndes. The 4-6 favourite led early, always in control, he beat Patterdale Timmy, by eight lengths, in 28.58.
In the opener, the €1,100 to the winner Irish Retired Greyhound Trust A5 Final, Boherash Leo (Ballymac Bolger-Slaneyside Twirl) overcame crowding at the first corner for Leonard Hanrahan, Glanworth. Rafas Best made most, but the 3-1 winner flew home to spoil the party. Three-quarters of a length the margin, in 29.18.
The €1,000 to the winner Curraheen Park Supporters Club A1 Stake went the way of Snazzy Boss (Pat C Sabbath-Hollywell Samba) for owners Paul Ellis and Seamus Hagan, Derry. Curious Callie took a flyer to lead, but the well=backed winner flew down the back to take over up front. Keeping on well, Snazzy Boss held the gallant Curious Callie, by a neck, in 28.69.
In the fourth, the opening heat in the Dynamic Force @ Stud A2/A3 Bitch Stake, Flyers Hobbit (Ballyhimikin Jet-Millridge Dame) delivered a fine front-running winning display for Liam Murphy, Templeglantine. The 2-1 winner held Broken Best, by a length, in 29.01.
In the second heat, Blastoff Music (Orchestrate-Blastoff Tess) was another to make all for Philip Buckley, Cullen. The July puppy, a 9-4 shot, stuck to her task well in the closing stages to beat the running on Ballydorgan One, by a length, in 28.95
Heat three went the way of Danish Bubble (King Sheeran-Danish Robyn) for trainer Graham Holland and owners the Slattery Family Syndicate. The 6-4 winner flew to the front at the opening corners, soon clear, she beat the running on Sparta Calli, by three and a half lengths, in 28.78.
Imokilly Roxanne (Coolavanny Hoffa-Cuningar Spice) applied her customary front-running tactics to win the fourth heat. Trained by Adam Dunford for Mick O'Driscoll, Killeagh, the 4-5 market leader led early, kicking clear on the back straight, the dropped in class winner came home four lengths clear of Dellish Robyn, in 28.72.
In the fifth and final heat, Ballinveala Jen (Newinn Taylor-Terezas Mendoza) put on a strong finish to win for trainer Maurice O'Connor and owner Vincent Purthill. Mid division early, the July puppy got up late on, beating Youlldoadeal, by a neck, in 28.97.
