A VERY BUSY IRISH FOCUS ON SISRACING.TV

Ian Fortune

We will visit a near record eight tracks on the Irish Focus on sisracing.tv this evening with so much outstanding racing over the weekend.

Galway, Kilkenny, Tralee, Curraheen Park, Limerick, Shelbourne Park, Waterford and Mullingar all get a visit.

Once again, we kick off proceedings at Galway where the semi-finals of the Kilcolgan Castle Connacht Derby were the feature. It’s then onto Tralee for the finals of the T Nolan CVRT Centre Juvenile Classic, won in brilliant fashion by Ballymac Deniro.

We will also take the opportunity to go to Kilkenny to bring you the fastest heat winner in the second round of the Deadly Kennels McCalmont Cup.

Saturday’s action includes a visit to Curraheen Park for one of the highlights of the opening round of the SSO Personnel Cork Oaks, a stunning run from Bombay Special in a sizzling 28.01.

The Con & Annie Kirby Memorial is on the horizon at Limerick and we will take the opportunity to look at a couple of superb runs from potential challengers.

It’s then onto Shelbourne Park where Miami Hyland and Boylesports Blue shared top billing before a quick stop at Waterford for the semi-finals of the Deise Plastering Novice 730.

Last but certainly not least, we finish up at Mullingar on Sunday where Ballinabola Joe handed Pat Buckley a record extending seventh TIME Irish Cesarewitch title.

The Irish Focus will go live at 6pm so head over to https://www.sisracing.tv/tag/irish/ and remind yourself of what a wonderful weekend it was in Irish greyhound racing.
