STRIDEWAY LENA confirmed her outstanding recent form with another smashing display in the final of the €2,200 to the winner John & Mary Killeacle Dowling Memorial A1 570 at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night.

In the care of James O'Mahony, the 5-2 second favourite was foot perfect from traps as she showed devastating early speed. Flying around the opening corners in front, she was three clear of Millridge Blake with at least five lengths back to favourite Crafty Babalino who was back in third.

It really was a magical display by the winner as he clocked a fantastic 30.56 to land the spoils. Crafty Babalino showed sensational staying power to get within half a length at the winning line. Four and a half lengths back to Millridge Blake in third.
