Once again there was incredible interest in the latest sale at Kilkenny last Saturday, August 16th.
In fact, each and every one of the 62 greyhounds that trialled went on the bench and, incredibly, every single one of them were sold.
This resulted in a record turnover of just over €95,000. The highest turnover recorded to date (outside of a National Sales at SPK) was €85,000 which was also set at a Kilkenny Sales earlier this year. Another sale held in Kilkenny in 2025 had a turnover of just shy of €85,000 so it really has been an incredible year for the sale team at Kilkenny.
