SCRAHAN LADY A CLASS APART IN KILCOHAN PARK FEATURE FOR IN FORM SCURRY KENNEL

SCRAHAN LADY (Ballymac Cashout-Ballymac Trudi), for the kennel of Matthew Scurry, delivered a top-class performance to win the €2,000 to the winner Shebetheone A2/A3 Final.

Impressive last week, the 6-4 second favourite improved on that run when winning the feature in 28.32. Producing a flying 3.12 split, the classy performer drove a fantastic opening corner to slip around in front, and from there, it was game over. So strong up front, the in-form lady displayed huge pace on the back straight. Staying on strongly up front, Scrahan Lady stayed on strongly to beat Lemon Thelma by four lengths, in 28.32. The short-priced favourite Bruce Bay was unable to produce his quickest start, and he was three lengths behind the runner-up in third place.

Fresh from a great treble last weekend, this was another outstanding victory for the in-form Scurry kennels.

Pic below: Congratulations to Matthew Scurry and Family, who won the Final of the Shebetheone A2/A3 Stake tonight, with Scrahan Lady producing a fantastic career best run of 28.32. The event was kindly sponsored by Leo and Kate Dunphy.
