UNLOCK UNLOCK A MUM AGAIN

While coasting through X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, yesterday evening I came across the news that leading brood Unlock Unlock has just had another litter.

Of course, her first litter to Pestana produced a number of stars including Up The Style, Undisputed and Undulation.

She has since had two more litters to Grangeview Ten and Ballymac Bolger. It’s early days for the Grangeview Ten litter while the Ballymac Bolger litter have just gone thirteen months old.

This latest litter is by Australian superstar Koblenz. The 2021 Melbourne Cup winner is a son of Fernando Bale, while his dam Up The Jill is a daughter of former Irish star Premier Fantasy.

Given the fact that Koblenz is black and while, much like his grandsire, and Unluck Unlock, it is no surprise that the pups are all black and white. Judging from the picture accompanying the post on X, they look to be thriving and we wish all involved in Brendan Matthews’ Townview Kennels the best of luck with them.
