BRYNOFFA BAMBI came out on top in the final of the €2,300 to the winner Bergin Monumental Works A3/A4 at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.

Zaconey Vulcan was flying early, quickly pulling five lengths clear of the winner and favourite Greizmann. Showing massive back straight pace, Brynoffa Bambi was making big progress and the October puppy stuck her to task extremely well in the closing stages. A brave display to win, in 28.89, a length clear of the early leader Zaconey Vulcan, with two lengths back Greizmann in third place.

Trained by Eamon Mackey for owner Emma Mackey, the daughter of Magical Bale and Brynoffa Honey is expected to be winning plenty of races in the coming weeks and months.

GREAT NIGHT FOR THE MACKEY FAMILY
It was a great night all round for the Mackey family as they recorded an outstanding four timer. Brynoffa Daphine landed the opening semi final of the GRI Spring A5 stake, in 29.05, while Brynoffa Sydney ran out a 29.48 in the second heat.
It all started in the opening race as Rockstar Lass, trained by Eamon Mackey for owner Kevin Kennedy, made a winning debut in 29.67.

THREE STRAIGHT WINS

The well-named Down To Business made it three straight wins in the final of the €1,500 to the winner Droopys Stud ON2 stake for trainer Bernie Connolly and owners Darragh Kelly and Sharon Mulcahy.

The October puppy, a son of Pestana and Newinn Madam, hit the ground running and the exciting young talent was in total control right away. The 4-5 favourite pulled right away from halfway, showing plenty of speed to win easily, in 28.66. Nine lengths back to Point Of Rescue in second place.
