BALLYMAC PATRIOT WORTH FOLLOWING IN THE KINGDOM

Barry Drake

Liam Dowling's BALLYMAC PATRIOT (Ballymac Cashout-Ballymac Wisdom) can record back-to-back winning performances in tonight's opening semi-final of the Juvenile Classic at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium.

A real eye-catcher in the opening round, the June puppy made no mistakes last week, showing real pace throughout to win, in 28.22. Drawn well, along the inside of the track, we can expect another big run. Such an exciting young tracker, the Ballymac runner is selected to make every yard of the running.

Baby Bocko, trained by Graham Holland for Beverley Lochead, a 28.42 winner last week, is next best. The son of Lenson Bocko and Shes Ordinary is drawn well out wide and the March youngster should be in the mix.

SECOND SEMI FINAL

COOLAVANNY OTTO (Droopys Sydney-Westwind Jet), a superb 28.04 winner on debut, is chasing three straight wins in the second heat after overcoming trouble in running to win in 28.55 last week.

Such a powerful performer, he will take plenty of beating despite the tricky draw out in trap five. Trained by Pat Buckley for owners James and Nathan Corden, with any luck in running, he should prove too strong.
