As we look ahead to one of the most exciting nights of the year for Irish Greyhound Racing, the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby Final, we have compiled some information on all things Derby here for you in the one spot.
2023 BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby Final Tickets
Admission tickets for the Final of the 2023 BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased online in advance, or in Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium on the night - subject to availability.
This Saturday 2nd September, we will open our doors at the earlier time of 4:30pm. Our first race of the night will begin at 7:20pm, slightly earlier than our usual race times. We will have live music after racing so stick around and dance the night away! 🎵
Parking at the stadium will not be available on the night of the final. For more information visit our Getting to the Derby Page.
Travelling to the Derby Final
A free Park and Ride facility will be available on Saturday 2nd September for those attending the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby Final in Shelbourne Park. Thanks to John O'Sullivan and the Dublin Coach team for facilitating this service.
Where: Clanna Gael GAA Club, Sean Moore Road
Bus Departure Times: The first bus will depart Clanna Gael GAA Club at 5pm and leave every 10 - 15 minutes until the 1st Race.
Bus Return Times: Return buses will start from 10.30pm
The car park is just a 10 minute from Shelbourne Park for anyone who wishes to walk. This is strictly first-come, first served and will be closed once it is full.
Watch the Derby on Vigin Media Three
Virgin Media Three will be broadcasting Irish Greyhound Racing's biggest competition live for you to watch from home. The Final will be shown on Virgin Media Three. (9-10pm, September 2nd) The programme will once again be hosted by Ivan Yates and is a must watch!
