BIG NEW EVENT IN THE KINGDOM - THE MCP GROUP OPEN 750

There is great interest in Tralee for new MCP Group Open 750 Stakes.

Organised by the Kerry Greyhound Owners & Breeders Association and proudly sponsored by the Harty family from the Spa, Tralee with Mid Cork Pallets there is great prize money on offer with a winner’s prize of €7,000 (if stake fills).

Speaking at the launch of the event at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Sponsor Maurice Harty (of the Lassinagh prefix) said he and his sons were "delighted to support valuable sweeps in Tralee and especially looking forward to high quality racing over the 750 yard distance and particularly enjoys the watching the long distance."

Chairman of KGOBA Brendan Maunsell, ”thanked Maurice, Liam & Aidan on behalf of all in Tralee for coming on board adding that, it's fantastic that Tralee has an open 750 yard sweep and we're really looking forward to a high calibre of dogs running in Tralee and great to have a new competition happening".
