After a superb display at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night, Robert Gleeson confirmed yesterday afternoon that Droopys Edit is on his way to Mike Burton and will continue his racing career in the UK.

An impeccably well-bred son of Droopys Addition and Droopys Curio, Droopys Edit looks made for the UK scene with early speed his greatest weapon. His latest display was evidence of the fact.

Accelerating into the lead by the turn, he posted a rapid 15.90 to the third bend before holding on to beat Glengar Robin by a half length in 28.25.

If reproducing this level of form on a regular basis, it seems safe to expect he will develop into a category 1 performer in his new home and we wish his new connections the very best of luck in the future.
