SWEET 16 FOR ALISHA

It has come to our attention that today is a special day for young Alisha Powell.

The daughter of trainer Keith Powell, Alisha is very popular with the regulars at Shelbourne Park and Newbridge and I’m sure she will be getting plenty of birthday wishes as she turns sweet 16.

Her father is certainly in no doubt that she is more popular than himself. Said Keith of his shadow, “In fairness, she’s more popular than me. Most call her the ‘real trainer’ or ‘the boss’.”

And so, it would be remiss of us not to add to Alisha’s birthday wishes. On behalf of everyone at Talking Dogs towers and those that frequent the tracks of Ireland, a very happy birthday to the ‘boss’.
