IRISH SPRINT CUP ON HORIZON

As we hit mid-June, some of the great events on the Irish calendar are set to get underway in the coming days. Of course, at Shelbourne Park the stayers will have their chance to shine in the Corn Cuchulainn, the six-bend classic, while Dundalk are readying themselves for their biggest event of the year, the Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup.
The sprint classic is due to commence on Saturday, July 20th and entries are now open. Entries close on Monday, July 15th at 5pm.
Last year’s event was won in stunning fashion by Carrick Aldo and one suspects this year’s renewal will be a vintage one with some exceptional sprinters around.
