The Willwego.com Irish St. Leger is just around the corner at Limerick Greyhound Stadium and the track hosted a trial session for prospective entries over the weekend, the standout of which being a sensational run by Jaytee Craze.

The Paul Hennessy-trained runner, jointly owned by John Turner and Lee Craze, was last spotted in Towcester, however, returned to Irish soil in hugely impressive fashion as he dipped well under the 28-second barrier.

Donning the white jacket, the talented son of Ballymac Cashout and Ballymac Minton moved majestically throughout as he stopped the clock in an incredible 27.89. A number of dogs trialled on the night, however, this was the standout performance and based on that, we are in for a top-class renewal of the St. Leger.
