There’s a wonderful evening of racing at Kilkenny on Friday night where the opening round heats of the Kilkenny Track Champion Unraced will attract huge interest.
The famous stake has produced so many superstars over the years and this year’s renewal should be no exception.
The Pat Buckley trained Unanimous Leo won last year’s renewal, while a year earlier Bockos Diamond captured the valuable prize before establishing himself as one of the greatest of all time. The final of the Champion Open Unraced will take place on Sunday, April 26th.
This Friday’s action at Kilkenny will also feature the quarter final heats of the Georgie Leahy Memorial A3 525.
