LENNIES DESIRE A BRILLIANT WINNER OF THE TWO WHEEL TRAINING OPEN 750

LENNIES DESIRE (Signet Ace-Free From Desire) ran out a brilliant winner of the €5,000 to the winner Two Wheel Training Open 750-yard Stake at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

Trained by Paul Hennessy for owner Lee Craze, the well-backed 4-6 favourite didn't produce his quickest start, but he turned handy around the opening corners as Squnity Maginty took them along up front. The eye was always drawn to Lennies Desire, and he soon took up the running, and once doing so, he quickly put the race to bed. All one-way traffic from there, the impressive winner pulled away, coming home seven and a half lengths clear of Squnity Maginty, in 41.67. Three and a half lengths back to Valhalla Vision in third place.

DENIS LINEHAN SOLICITORS UNRACED STAKE
In the opening semi-final of the Denis Linehan Solicitors Unraced Stake, Croydon Web (Sober Glory-Assarula Runner) went quickest on the clock for trainer Patrick Barrett and owner Michael Clark. The 6-4 favourite, a September puppy, hit the front early and the outcome was never in any doubt. Staying on strongly up front, it was a 28.35 winning performance, eight and a half lengths clear of Thurlesbeg Duke.

Fahrenheit Ace (Grangeview Ten-Roaming Spirit), trained by Graham Holland for William O'Sullivan, delivered a stunning 28.45 front-running winning performance. The 2-1 winner, an October puppy, displayed stunning early sectionals to shoot a couple of lengths clear down the back straight. Callaway Ryder did make late gains, but the exciting prospect held on to win, by a length and a half, in 28.45.

In the third and final heat, trainer Barry Clancy enjoyed a great 1-2. It was favouriteDroopys Monk (Signet Ace-Droopys Lois) who came home in front for owners Graham Ashe and Tommy Kelly. The November puppy, the even-money jolly, hit the front early and from there, he galloped clear to win in style. A 28.56 winning run, five and a half lengths clear of Droopys Porter.

Pricless Romeo (Priceless Jet-Pricless Opera), trained by Paul Hennessy for owners Bryan and Kathleen Murphy, finished with a flourish to win the closing race. Montana Secret won the all-important early lead, with odds-on favourite Bockos Gold turning second. The 3-1 winner finished best from halfway, pulling out all the stops in the closing stages and winning by three lengths, in 28.39. (AA0).

Hennessy enjoyed a treble on the night. Earlier in the fifth, Two Chimneys (Granheview Ten-Me Penny) made the most of a good opportunity to win for Paul Hynes. The well-backed even-money favourite made every yard of the running, posting 28.69, five lengths clear of Turbine Tahiti.

In race eight, an A0, Noon Ballad (Roaming Turbo-Burgess Madam) returned to winning ways for trainer Kieran Lynch and owners Eoin Ivers and Fintan Lawlor. The 5-2 shot led early, and from there, she pulled right away. Displaying bundles of speed to win, in 28.69, five and a half lengths clear of Knockera Jet.
