Limerick Greyhound Stadium is scheduled to stage the next sales auction on Saturday, August 15th, with another strong catalogue expected to attract plenty of interest.
The Limerick sales have proven extremely popular in recent times, with a number of astute purchases going on to enjoy notable success. Annie Up was snapped up for just €1,600 at the May sales and the October pup has since produced an impressive 28.79 performance around Dundalk. Clonbrien Ruby was another graduate from the Dock Road sales and she is now competing in top graded company across the water in Yarmouth.
Indeed, there is always the potential to uncover a bargain at sales auctions throughout Ireland and next week's catalogue at Limerick is expected to provide an excellent mix of promising youngsters and seasoned performers.
Owners and trainers are reminded that entries for the sales are still being accepted. Anyone wishing to enter a greyhound is encouraged to contact the Limerick Racing Office on 085 8797575 as soon as possible.
