MADE TO MEASURE ON TOP IN FINAL STRIDE IN THE TIME CORK CUP

MADE TO MEASURE (Droopys Sydney-Singalong Sally) came out on top in the final of the €5,000 to the winner Time Greyhound Nutrition Cork Cup at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

Trained by Pat Norris for Mark Lowther, the 6-4 second favourite produced a decent start, and he turned second behind the favourite Microchip. The last-named was in top gear on the back straight - quickly pulling two lengths clear up front. The order remained the same on the turns for home, with Made To Measure making his move on the home straight. It looked for all money that Microchip would hold on, however, Made To Measure came with a late burst to nab it right on the line.

A short head the margin, in 28.55. Four and a half lengths back to Ballycowen Moon in third place.

CURRAHEEN PARK SUPPORTERS CLUB A4 STAKE

In the other final on the card, Parkview Tommy (Ballymac Bolger-Ballymac Truidi) proved a class apart when winning the €1,000 to the winner Curraheen Park Supporters Club A4 Stake. Flying around the opening corner in front, the Kieran Lynch trained runner was soon in total control. Owned by John Quinn and John Maher, the improving March puppy, the warm 2-5 favourite, stayed on strongly to beat Blastoff Ten, by five and a half lengths, in 28.63.
