ITS PADDYS WISH (Pestana-Shinawill) has proved a real money spinner for Nicky and Paudi Walsh, Ring, and the classy performer recorded a 20th career success in Youghal on Saturday, winning the feature, the €1,500 to the winner Ger Gubbins Construction A3/A4 Stake.

Favourite Knockglass Joe displayed nice early speed after a tardy start to lead around the opening corners; however, the eye was soon drawn to the winner as he turned very close to the leader.

Hitting top gear on the back straight, Its Paddys Wish was soon in front and from here, the race was always in safe keeping. 

A superb 29.32 winning run, five lengths clear of the fast-finishing Pacific. Knockglass Joe was a further three-quarters of a length back in third.
