PROSPECTS ON SHOW IN GLENGAR BALE UNRACED AT ENNISCORTHY

Pat Buckley has been a regular visitor to Enniscorthy in recent years, unleashing some hugely talented youngsters in the many unraced competitions run at the Wexford venue and tonight he returns as a sponsor with the Glengar Bale @ Stud Open Unraced getting underway.

As you would expect there are a number of well-bred promising youngsters on show in the three heats but the most intriguing is perhaps the sponsors own Unanimous Tobi in the last of the heats.

A litter brother to Magical Nala, who became the fastest debutant in Irish greyhound racing history on Friday night at Shelbourne Park, Ciaran O’Sullivan’s youngster has himself shown plenty of ability in trials, including a 28.72 spin at Shelbourne.

We’ll have a full report on the opening round of the opening round tomorrow morning. Don’t be surprised if we are reporting on a couple of potential stars. The action at Enniscorthy gets underway at 8pm.
