Glengar Robin further cemented her standing as one of the most promising young bitches in training with a truly brilliant display to land the valuable BOYLE Sports A3 Bitch 525 at a busy Kilkenny on Friday night.

Understandably sent to traps a red-hot 4-7 favourite after three stunning displays in the early rounds, the Pat Buckley trained daughter of Shima Shine and Newinn Liz was given a target in the early stages with the early paced duo of Miss Maytree and Tell On Ruby going up fast.

Importantly, Glengar Robin stalked the pair into the bend, not making any brash moves, before launching a decisive challenge down the back straight. Oving second between the opening bends, she displayed massive pace down the back straight to take over before halfway.

Owned by the aptly named Four Leaf Clover Syndicate, Glengar Robin engaged the turbos. By the third turn she was alone out front and extending her lead with each impressive stride. Powering home, she went on to land the €4,000 to the winner prize by an incredible eight lengths in a brilliant 28.61.

Headwire Trout stayed on well for second. In victory, Glengar Robin posted the fastest time of the year. Have no doubt, she is a star of the future.
