SCRAHAN LADY came home in front to win the Kilcohan Park feature on Saturday night, the €1,250 to the winner This Runs Deep A4 550 for Matthew Scurry.
A bright prospect, the May puppy produced a dream start and once leading around, it looked race over. Strong throughout, the improving and impressed winner scored easily, in 30.23, three and a half lengths clear of Confident Chef.
THREE FROM THREE
In the opener, Blackstone Mick made it three wins from as many starts when winning the Kilcohan Park ON/ON3 Stake Final for Patrick Sinnott.
In control early, the 1-2 favourite delivered another fine performance, winning with plenty to spare, in 29.06. Roanna General was best of the rest, six and a half lengths back in second.
TOOK FULL ADVANTAGE
In the third of the night, the €750 to the winner A6/A7 Final, it was Lark Ascending who finished best to win for Al Hanley and trainer Leo Dunphy.
It got messy up from between the final corners and the 5-1 shot took full advantage to win, in 29.65. Two and a half lengths back to Bing Wing Speed in second.
