TIME DUNDALK INTERNATIONAL ENTRIES INVITED

With the conclusion of the Boylesports Champion Stakes this Saturday, focus of attention will switch to the Time Dundalk International, sponsored by Time Greyhound Nutrition.

As always, there will be a scramble to get into the hugely valuable invitation, the most prestigious in this part of the world.

Worth a whopping €20,000 to the winner, the famous contest has been won by some true superstars through the years and there are plenty more lining up for a crack at the race this year. Liam Kennedy confirmed he had expressions of interest from a number of handlers in recent weeks and is keen to remind those hoping to get into the International to get in touch before Monday evening at 5pm.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

The following have already expressed a desire to take part.

Pat Buckley put forward his Race of Champions winner Coolavanny Otto, Cesarewitch champion Singalong Dolly, 2023 Derby third Bens Teddy and Produce Stakes winner Unanimouspanther.

John McGee has thrown the names of Da Bold Falcon and Hawkfield Blue into the mix, while Pat Guilfoyle is hoping Dale Road Duke can win the Champion Stakes on Saturday before taking his place in the International line-up.

Ian Reilly has entered Oaks third Droopys Edel and Robert Gleeson has entered his brilliant performer Droopys Mandolin. Liam Dowling has stated his English Derby winner De Lahdedah won’t be going but he has entered his English Derby finalist Ballymac Gizmo. Murt Leahy is bidding to win the race for the second year running after the brilliant display of Raha Mofo last year and has put forward the name of Tribal Syd.

UK RAIDERS WANTED AND MOST WELCOME

Obviously, those making the decisions would like to see a few names come forward from across the water.

They would welcome the likes of King Memphis with open arms were connections tempted.
