CHICO FANCIED FOR SEMI-FINAL GLORY IN PLATE

Optic Chico has suffered three defeats in a row but is fancied to return to winning ways at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night with the Robert Gleeson trained powerhouse introduced at even money with Boylesports for his semi-final in the Michael Fortune Memorial Plate.

Beepers Lariat is seen as his main threat at 3-1, while Press Unlock at 9-2 and Da Bold Freddie at 5-1 could also attract support.
