Those eagle-eyed would have noticed that Limerick Greyhound Stadium has a racecard posted for this Sunday, 24th November, and that is because the Limerick and Clare GOBA have organised a special family event which will kick-off at 3PM.
The day will be full of festive fun and there will be a series of family activities that are certain to attract a sizable crowd. Of the many activities on offer, there will be a laugh factory, face painting, a balloon show, a magic show, while there will also be a chance to meet Santa in his grotto. In addition, a carvery lunch will be available between the hours of 3pm and 6pm.
The admission will be no different to a typical race night and is as follows -
€10 entry for adults, however, you will receive a €5 discount voucher which can be used against the Carvery on the day.
Children under 12 will go free when accompanied by a paying adult, while OAP’s and Students will be able to gain entry for a mere €5.
On the racing front, the card is stacked with no fewer than six sweepstake finals going down for decision, as well as several top-class one-off races throughout the card. In addition, the day will also host a Cratloe GAA Club Family Fundraiser, details of which can be found by clicking this link - LIMERICK CHRISTMAS FAMILY FUN EVENT
