Ian Fortune

With little racing this week due to the extremely warm conditions, those looking for their fix can do far worse than check out tonight’s instalment of the Irish Focus on sisracing.tv.

It was a busy weekend in Irish greyhound racing and we will bring you racing from Shelbourne Park, Limerick, Mullingar and Thurles.

We will visit Shelbourne for both Friday and Saturday night’s action. The Friday racing includes two superb displays, from the very promising Im Here and Droopys Monk. Both seems destined to go onto bigger things.

We return to Shelbourne 24 hours later for the semi-finals of the Celtic Cooling Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Open Unraced, the semi-finals of the Shelbourne Maiden Derby AAO 550 before ending with two brilliant displays in the semi-finals of the stayer’s classic, the Donal Beatty Memorial Corn Cuchulainn. Asan added bonus, we will also show a couple of big runs from the Shelbourne undercard.

The action from Limerick includes the opening semi-final of the West Limerick Treaty Cup 350 and the standard setting run in the quarter finals of the TIME Club A4 Derby.

We will pay a flying visit to Mullingar to bring you the brilliant second round run of Supa Mac in the Pat Curtin Memorialas he became the first greyhound to break 29 seconds at the Midlands venue since 2004.

Thurles also gets a visit as we review three of the four second round heats of the Centenary Agri Tipperary Cup.

It really was a wonderful few days in Irish greyhound racing. The Irish Focus will go live at 6pm so head over to https://www.sisracing.tv/tag/irish/.
