PROMISING PUPS ON SHOW AT DUNDALK

Ian Fortune

Tonight’s action from Dundalk includes the semi-finals of an ON1 400 featuring some very well bred youngsters, a couple of which really jump off the page, and the opening round of the Track Supporters Club A3 525.

It was in May of 2025 when Magical Luka announced himself to the world, winning a three-run ON1 400 stake at Dundalk and his two half-brothers, Magical Jason and Magical Marty, are of particular interest in tonight’s ON1 stake.

Pat Guilfoyle will be hoping the pair can put their best foot forward and land their respective semi-finals. Magical Jason is drawn in three in the opening heat and after showing promise in trials, seems likely to go considerably faster. He is a confidence choice.

Magical Marty moved well in his latest trial at Galway and is the obvious selection in the second semi-final. Hopefully, one the duo can become the latest potential champion to begin their career at Dundalk.

YOUTH WORTH FOLLOWING IN A3 SUPPORTERS STAKE

It may prove profitable to follow the lesser exposed, likely improvers in the opening round of the Track Supporters Club A3 525.

These include Whiterock Storm in Heat 2, Berties Massett in Heat 3 and Crash Bang Hugo in the final heat.
