2026 T.NOLAN CVRT CENTRE JUVENILE CLASSIC

The T. Nolan CVRT Centre Juvenile Classic takes place this February and March in Tralee’s Kingdom Greyhound Stadium. The opening classic of the 2026 Irish Greyhound Racing calendar boasts a prizefund of €26,000.

T. NOLAN & SONS CVRT CENTRE JUVENILE CLASSIC LAUNCH

The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium team announced the details of the T. Nolan & Sons CVRT Centre Juvenile Classic, set to take place from Friday, 13th February to Friday, 6th March 2026.

Nolan CVRT Centre Juvenile Classic which gets underway on Friday 13th February

Now in its second year of sponsorship, this prestigious juvenile competition promises thrilling racing action for fans and competitors alike.

With a total prize fund of €26,000, including a winner’s prize of €11,000, the Juvenile Classic is expected to attract 36-48 of Ireland’s top young greyhounds, showcasing the very best emerging talent on the track.

Tom Nolan, of T. Nolan & Sons CVRT said at the launch, "We are thrilled to return as sponsors for the second year of the Juvenile Classic at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium. Last year’s event was fantastic, showcasing some incredible young talent, and we’re proud to support Ireland’s rising greyhound stars once again". Kieran Casey, Racing Manager at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, said, "We are thrilled to welcome back the T. Nolan & Sons CVRT Centre Juvenile Classic for its second year. Tom Nolan’s continued support has been invaluable, and this event highlights some of the most exciting young greyhounds in the country. It promises to be a fantastic spectacle for racing fans in Tralee and beyond."

For those unable to attend in person, all the action will be broadcast live on Barking Buzz, ensuring fans don’t miss a moment of the excitement.

The local Kerry company expand their support of Greyhound Racing in Tralee

Greyhound Racing Ireland are delighted to welcome Castleisland family-run business T. Nolan CVRT Centre as title sponsors of the Juvenile Classic, having signed a two-year agreement for the event in Tralee’s Kingdom Greyhound Stadium.

The T. Nolan CVRT Centre Juvenile Classic is the opening Classic of the year on the Irish Greyhound Racing calendar and will get underway on Friday 14th February in Tralee.  Boasting a total prize fund of €26,000, the competition will run over 4 nights with the €11,000 overall winner decided in the Final on Friday 7th March.

The competition, for Juvenile Greyhounds now attracts some of the most promising youngsters with recent winners such as Ballymac Patriot, Wi Can Dream and Singalong Sally becoming household names in the racing world.

Sponsor Tom Nolan and the Nolan family businesses have been strong supporters of Greyhound Racing in Kerry for many years. It was Tom’s parents Tim and Mary who established the business back in 1976, with their children now at the helm today.  Tom Nolan, sponsor, said “We’re involved in Greyhounds all our lives, I developed my love for them from my own parents, and we’ve been sponsoring for the last 25 or 30 years. We’re absolutely delighted to be stepping up to sponsor such a prestigious event in the Irish calendar. We’re really looking forward to it and seeing what future stars emerge from it.”

Enthusiasts nationally and internationally will also be able to watch the Final live online via sisracing.tv.
