Congratulations to our 2025 BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby champion, Cheap Sandwiches and his owners the Bark Wahlberg Syndicate, trainer Graham Holland and breeder Joseph O'Connor.
Cheap Sandwiches win secured a place in greyhound racing history for his trainer Graham Holland. Graham now holds the record for the most Irish Greyhound Derby wins, having trained an incredible five winners. Congratulations Graham and the Holland family and Riverside Kennels team.
Mike McCartney was in Shelbourne Park on Saturday night for the BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby with a comprehensive report for RTE Radio 1's Sunday Sport programme. Mike spoke to finalists, racegoers and staff on the night, plus a chat with the delighted owner Dan Brassil of the Bark Wahlberg Syndicate.

On Saturday night, Cheap Sandwiches added his name to the history books as our 2025 Derby champion for owners the Bark Wahlberg Syndicate, trainer Graham Holland, breeder Joseph O'Connor and connections.
The win also firmly established Graham Holland as the greatest trainer in Irish Greyhound Derby history with an incredible five wins to his name.

A FREE Park and Ride facility will be available on Saturday 27th September for those attending the 2025 BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby. Parking in the stadium will not be available.
Where: Clanna Gael GAA Club, Sean Moore Road (see map below)
Bus Departure Times: The first bus will depart Clanna Gael GAA Club at 5pm and leave every 10 - 15 minutes until the 8pm
Bus Return Times: Return buses will start from 10.30pm amd run until midnight.
Pick-up and Drop-Off point will be near the Corporate/Restaurant Entrance
The car park is just a 10 minute from Shelbourne Park for anyone who wishes to walk.
This is strictly first-come, first served and will be closed once it is full.
