Kilkenny greyhound stadium held another hugely successful sale on Saturday morning where there was a large crowd present with almost €80,000 turned over on the day. 

There was some hugely exciting action on the auctioneer’s rostrum when lot 43, an unraced son of Jacob Tashadelek out of Long Kiwi, Long Bloom going fastest on the day in 28.81 was put on the bench and after a huge battle between a few different bidders the auctioneer’s gavel eventually came down at €9100. 

Honey Champ an unraced son of Swords Rex was a winner of his trial in 28.96 and was knocked down to his new connections at €5500 
Lacken Eagle a November 24 winner of his trial in 29.12 was sold for €4500.

Knockroe Jersey winner of six races in her career to date and this morning won her sales trial in 29.35 sold for €3100

Captain Bill an unraced son of Jacktavern Gem who was a winner of his trial in 29.58 sold for €2800.

Rallying Bucko a 29.36 trial winner on the day having previously won his trials in 29.39 at Thurles and 19.71 over sprint trip at Limerick was sold for €2600. 

Roses Dapper who had won his two trials around Newbridge was an eye catching runner up to Arrigle Marian was sold for €2500

Salsa Blue was for me one of the eye catching dogs in this mornings trials when winning in 29.34 was sold for €2300

Very Busy was a four length runner up in 29.58 was sold for €2250.

Further Ado January 25 a son of Ballymac Cashout who had a 29.64 trial win on his card around clonmel on July 3rd and was winner of his trial this morning in 29.90 sold for €2200.
Golden Disc a well related March 25 dog pup out of  Dromana Bucko dog winner of his trial in 30.01 was sold for €2050.

Rallying Wood an October 24 Ballymac Cashout bitch winner of her trial this morning in 29.86 was sold for €2050. 

Monadreen a winner of two races to date from three races finished runner up beaten five lengths in 29.54 this morning was sold for €2000.

My Solitude an exciting September 24 son of Koblenz was sold for €1750 after finishing second three lengths in 29.34 behind Salsa Blue. 

Arrigle Bucks was sold for €1700 after finishing second beaten a length in 30.20
Monagore Hawk a Nov 24 Signet Ace bitch who had won her previous two qualifying trials was a four length runner up to Lacken Eagle in the fastest trial of the day sold for €1650.

Roses Rapper a six and a half length runner up in 29.36 was sold for €1600 
Autumn Prince a March 25 dog who won his trial in 29.91 was sold for €1500.

Ivy Ace winner of her trial in 29.54 was sold for €1500

Thunder Rock a well related son of Orchestre and Lemon Tilda who ran very green but showed plenty of promise was bought for €1400 after winning his trial in 30.20 

Other notable sales on the day were Snazzy Rachel €1300

Arrigle Marian €1150, Mallogs Ed €1100, 

Bubbles Houdini €1050.
