Magical Be Nifty was coming with what looked to be a winning run at the second last corner but the door was closed at a vital point and the 8-1 winner stayed in gamely to land the spoils. A short head the margin in 28.76. Two lengths back to Connemara Lady in third.

In the opening semi-final, Long Siesta (Grangeview Ten-Ballymac Tam) made it four wins from as many starts with a determined winning performance. The 4-6 favourite didn’t produce her usual quick start along the fence, but she turned handy as Knocknadoguestar and Glengar Blitz were going along up front.
Railing well throughout, the brave winner pulled out all the stops late, finishing best to beat Glengar Blitz, by a short head, in 28.91. A length and a half back to Snazzy Hawk in third.

The €5,000 to the winner Casey’s Caravan & Camping Park Unraced Stake also got off to a flying start.

Kilbride King (King Sheeran-Casanova) made the perfect start to his racing career with a flying 28.51 winning debut, at odds of 6-4.
Trained by Robert Gleason for owner Paul Allen, the September puppy has a big future ahead.

In the opening heat, Rains Benny Boy (Ballymac Cashout-Rains Annabell) impressed when clocking 28.91. Owned by Noel and Ben Freeman, the October puppy displayed plenty of all round speed to land the spoils.

In the third heat, Hillcrest Lola (Priceless Jet-Luna Rocket) delivered an incredible performance to win. Everything went wrong early from trap two, however, the August puppy came from well off the pace to win, in 29.24.Trained by Paul Hennessy for John Naughton, she is expected to go much quicker in the coming weeks.
