FAIRY SET TO TAKE FLIGHT AGAIN AT ENNISCORTHY

Tonight’s eight-race card at Enniscorthy is headlined by the semi-finals of the valuable Wexford GOBA Open Unraced Sake and all eyes will be on impressive opening and second round winner Luminous Fairy as she bids to bring her record to three wins from three starts in the second heat.

Denis Lennon’s daughter of Grangeview Ten and Ballymac Tam was electric last week, posting a sizzling 3.11 sectional on her way to a comfortable success in 28.98 (rated .20 slow). A repeat of that start would surely be enough to see her turn in front.

Of her rivals, Supa Jet has the best of the draw on the fence for the in-form Paul Hennessy. He finished second to Luminous Fairy last week and fill the same position tonight.

LACKALEA FACING TRICKY DRAW

The opening heat features three of the four second round heat winners.

Miss Lackalea was fastest of the trio last week when emerging a comfortable near-eight length winner in 29.14 (.20 slow). She faces a tricky draw in four and needs to come away racing to get the better of the likes of Son Of Anarchy and Mona Lee Monbeg. The action at Enniscorthy gets underway at 8pm.
