MONICA SKELLY

MONICA SKELLY

Irish greyhound racing lost one of its longest serving supporters and contributors in recent days with the passing of Monica Skelly.

For a number of decades, Monica was a regular fixture at Harold’s Cross and was known by all that frequented the Dublin venue.

There was scarcely a time when Monica didn’t have a dog about her and she had countless winners at the Cross over the years. She was a hugely popular member of the DGOBA and will be sadly missed by her many friends in the sport.

She had an incredible innings and will be fondly remembered by all. We would like to send on our sincerest condolences to her nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Kitty, brother-in-law Des, her extended family and many friends in the greyhound racing community.

May She Rest In Peace.
